Indigenous cultures worldwide have long used the power and wisdom of plant medicines heal their bodies, expand their minds, and energize their spirits. Entheogenic medicines have been an integral part of my healing journey, unlocking pathways in minutes or days that may have otherwise taken years to open. Grandfather Tabaco has been one of my greatest allies in recent years. I dieted with a potent tincture of tabaco and chiric sanango in the Amazon with master tabaquero Ernesto Torres, and was encouraged and guided by the student of his who first served me tabaco to begin sharing rapé. I learned the basics from a rapé facilitator initiation course and followed its guidance for six months of daily ceremonies to deepen my connection. With deep respect and gratitude for the potency of these plant spirits and the tribal guardians who have cultivated and shared them, I have followed the call to serve more than a hundred journeyers in sacred ceremony.

My primary offering is a Rapé ceremony infused with Birkat Kohanim, the Jewish Priestly Blessing. Blending the ancient wisdom of two powerful traditions creates a truly transformative experience. The master healing plant tabaco has been used for centuries in the Amazon to cleanse and energize the spirit and release stagnant energies. I honor my own priestly lineage by incorporating the ancient Jewish Priestly Blessing that dates back 3,000+ years, which I grew up chanting with my father, grandfather, brothers and cousins to invoke the divine spirit to bring peace, protection and grace to our communities.
This is a journey of spiritual connection, purification, and blessings. During the ceremony, I will guide you into an embodied felt sense to ground in presence followed by deep breathing and intention setting, preparing you to connect with the profound wisdom of the plant spirit. As you begin to surrender to the healing process, the Jewish Priestly Blessing invokes divine blessings and protection. I then serve the rapé - a blend of ground mapacho (wild tobacco) with the ashes of other healing plants - which involves gently blowing the sacred powder into your nasal passages using a tepi. This technique allows the energetic properties of the tabaco to permeate your being, unlocking stuck energy in your system and facilitating a deeper connection with the great spirit that enlivens us all. You may experience heightened clarity, expanded consciousness, and a profound sense of release. This ceremony acts as a catalyst for transformation, clearing away obstacles and inviting a renewed sense of purpose and vitality into your life. As the ceremony progresses, I utilize songs, energetic touch or feather work, and the soulful sounds of my shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) to help this powerful energy move smoothly through your whole being.
Adding to the power of this unique ceremony is the use of a specially handcrafted tepi, a sacred pipe traditionally used by indigenous healers in the Amazon. My two tepi, lovingly crafted by a Peruvian friend and fellow medicine man, carry in their core the wood of the master healing plant Chiric Sanango surrounded by the skin of the jiboia (boa constrictor). One features a spiraling liana vine (the source of ayahuasca) morphing into a jiboia, combining the visions of myself and the artist. The other pays homage to the ark of the covenant by featuring an eagle and colibri (hummingbird) facing each other with wings outstretched, symbolizing the unified power of North and South America.
Through these powerful combinations, you may experience a profound sense of purification, energetic alignment, and spiritual connection. The ceremony acts as a catalyst for personal growth, healing, and empowerment, enabling you to release stagnant energies, gain clarity, and invoke divine blessings into your life.

Before my first ceremony with Nico, my heart was beating and my nervous system felt uneasy. I practiced yoga to help center myself but I still wasn't sure what to expect and what I'll meet in the process. But I did know one thing - that he is loved and trusted by a close friend of mine.
As we sat down to begin, Nico was already creating a place of safety. He helped me feel comfortable to explore my emotional intentions and held a huge place of knowledge & care throughout the ceremony, inviting curiosity and awe.
He was tuned in to the place that heard the unspoken words. It was like a river washing through me and filling me up with new light. It felt grounding. It felt right.
And when my eyes opened and met Nico's I experienced two souls meeting in their divine presence. It was beautiful.

First ceremony: Rapé with Nico was one of the most powerful and energetic experiences I ever had. Nico was hosting in a very empathic way, dedicated to allow a very individual journey to my highest potential.
Second ceremony: This was the most intense spiritual experience of my life. It was in a beautiful location, on the beach next to the waves just before sunset. I felt a connection to everything - the sky, the waves, the Earth, the ground, the moon, the sun. And then I realized it's not connection; it's just One. I still feel that it's One. And it's no contradiction to have boundaries of myself, my body, my mind. That's the most impressive aspect of it. As an essence it's One. I saw the horizon and even though it's far I felt that it's near. It's here. To be really One means it's not far away. And the poem was wonderful - when you read the poem it fit perfectly. Thank you. I can really bring this to my life. It didn't dissolve. I can embody it much more.
